Airbag Compatability
I need a set of airbags for a chevrolet 2001.
I found some from a 98 car and was wondering if they would work on mine. They look exactly the same... I heard that you have to "use your old plugs" if the airbags are from a car older than 2000. Can anyone confirm this? |

Re: Airbag Compatability
I hope by useing your old plugs doesn't mean cutting and spliceing your wires together. That's a NO NO.I guess you could take the wires out of the plug and transfer it into another plug as long as they have the same number of wires.I would say find the right bags,it's not worth messing with your life.

If you dont know what you are doing, a dealership can do it safeley, and i know they would do it correct. Like what was stated earler, its not worth dieing for.
