I have one speaker that works...now what?

A few weeks ago I blew one of my door speakers. Earlier today i finished off my Audiobahn 10's. They were the cheapos...they did sound good for the price though. I want to go ahead and start planning another system. I already have a 380w Power Acoustics amp for door speakers and a 1200w Soundstom Labs amp for subs. I could finance some of this by selling my old setups to a local shop that fixes/sells speakers. In the front i just want to have some good replacement 6.5s and some separately mounted tweeters. In the rear I want some 6x9s mounted with separate tweeters. That's my main focus right now. I was thinking about getting an old Cerwin Vega Stroker 18 and mount in the back with that 1200watt amp. Would it even fit without taking out the back seat? What would be some good higs/mids to start with? Any sub suggestions? I only want one large sub to save a little time fabbing a box and just to be different.

Re: I have one speaker that works...now what?

for your hi/mids a lot of pple here recomend CDT components. never actually having heard them, i'd personally recomend something from Phonix Gold or Pioneer. They're a lot cheaper, but i'm sure CDT's make a big difference in sound.
I got 6.5 PG type R's for my civic. currently they're running form my HU, but still perform great. I was actually surprised at the performance of my mid, didn't expect to deliver such strong and clean lows. tweeters are still sounding a bit shrill though, i'm gonna work on improving that.

have fun with your new system building!
