**EDITED**WIP: just another motor swapped EG HB

"Another one for the Honda lovers"

I have had this car on the backburner for a few months due to a run of very bad luck elsewhere in my life but I have finally started working on it again. Basically This is my buddys model and he want's me to build it like his street car that is currently just a painted shell waiting for assembly, the plan is to motivate him w/ the model so he can't wait to build the real thing (he's a honda mechanic so having time for his own cars is hard). Anyway on to the car:
I am using a Revell Civic coupe for a doner kit and The color is a custom blend hunter/kelly green metallic and I'm using the same paint for the model that was used on his 1:1 car, it's going to be clean and alot like my orange HB I finished this summer except for a full interior and system. The wheels are not pictured yet because I have yet to buy them (racing hart S7 made by XS tuning under diff name), gonna have a spoon CF wing, CF hood, CF lip and maybe a CF hatch but not sure yet. It will have leather integra seats Frt & Back, momo steering wheel, all motor setup with more to come as the thread progresses..stay tuned

(**EDIT**)**DAMN I must have been tired doing this thread, I just realized my crx thread Hijacked this one...........well, let me fix that. (**EDIT**)

**Added extra suport for the sideview mirrors and also to reinforce the A-pillars that so far broke on every hatch I've built.

**Added extra styrene to support the bumper area after the chin spoiler was cut off, this also becomes VERY fragile otherwise**

**I had to cut quite a bit out of the engine bay to try and make it look a little more realistic**

**Added frame mount for motor mount**

**Added frame mount for motor mount**

**Motor mounts in progress**

**And of course my signature scratchbuilt intake manifold, injectors and throttle body, this ones built to replicate the ITR/CTR manifold

Re: WIP: just another motor swapped EG HB

CRX chassis code is EF. Looks like this is going to be good. Why not just make the same parts CF on the model as on the 1:1?

Only way to do it with the Hondas baby!

More progress pics, been going pretty steady here lately on both this and my rex model.

**Here you can see the brake booster I scratch built since the EG civic models do not have them???, was not to hard**

**The header with this kit is not bad but once compared to this I just can't go back to box stock**

**Completed 4-2-1 Header, just needs paint**

**Completed 4-2-1 Header, and you can almost see the Vtec Solnoid in the pic, the motor practically does'nt have one until you make it.**

Thanks for looking

Made some progress on this project:

**Scratchbuilt fuel rail, fuel press. regulator, fuel lines, pcv valve, throtttle body with map sensor and even the vaccum port for the brake booster hose**

**Made a slave cylinder for the clutch**

**I wanted to add more demension to the front of the lip so this is the rough draft stage**

Thanks for looking

Will you be exposing the timing gears on this one?

Not sure on this one because I am not sure how my buddy wants it and since he has not yet put his car together he may not know but I need to ask him. I know on my REX motor I will add the cam gears and timing belt and hopefully I will add them on this one too though
