Reducing Engine Speed
The "Reducing Engine Speed" message just appeared on my 2000 Lincoln LS. Just before that I noticed a loud whining sound when accelerating the car. At this point it is parked outside. In about 2 hours I will be leaving to drive home, about a 45 minute drive.
Has anyone experienced this, and any suggestions/pointers on what to do from this point on? Thanks for any help.
