max cold cranking amps
Hi,
I have an 86 honda accord and i live up in the moutains. When it gets to be about 36 degrees or lower, my car wont start. Last year had the same problem and bought a new battery, and i didnt seem to have as much of a problem. Now again this year, im getting the same results. The battery i have right now has 525 cca, but i havent been able to start it for the past 4 days or so. Today i took my truck battery that has 800 cca and it started up, but isnt that too powerful for it or not? So im wondering, whats the max cca that a stock old honda can handle? thanx, david |
