Well no you really don't have to cut it but it will be really tight...So I strongly suggest that you take a set of pliers and bend the metal verses cutting it.....alot easier as well....

No worry's about the sensor's....

But I have a question for ya....What filter did you get with the Place Racing, the monster flow or the K&N???

If you got the Monster Flow then I'd contact Place Racing and have them swap it with the K&N filter.....

why?

what will happen if i installed the monster flow filter? i have an extra filter (like the common one's) is that good or should i just get the k&n filter? what kind of k&n filter is that so i should know what i should get from place racing? is it the filtercharger or just a normal kn filter? thanks!!!!

me and stylin have a freind that has burnt like 2 mass air flow sensors(MAF) basicly the monster flows are foam and soak moisture like bounty paper towells. :frog: :frog: :frog: so unless you like working on your car alot and taking the cai back out and putting the stock air box back in i would get a good filter.
