driving the camaro in winter

Right now I have to drive my camaro this winter. Where it snows, does anyone else drive their camaro in the winter too. Just wanted to see if anyone else drives it in the winter.

Re: driving the camaro in winter

RWD is as good or better than FWD as logn as you get a little weight over the rear, and know your car/how it reacts/how to control it.

I feel safer in my camaro in the snow than my dad's hyundai...

Re: driving the camaro in winter

summer tires + torque + cold + snow = oh hell no.... but if you have to drive in the winter make sure you have some really good tires and put some extra weight in that beast....

The ground froze over the day i garaged mine and i was sliding all over the place going 20 and locking up the wheels when i tapped the brakes...so...no I'm not going to dare drive it in the winter(my first winter driving too pretty much)

I live up on a mountain and i needed to drive to school. The road doesn't have guard rails and it's like straight down on both sides and i started sliding down. I luckily I caught some dry pavement and was able to get it back under conrol but it was deffinatly a scary moment. Only if my lazy ass would have registered my jeep to park at school it wouldn't have been a problem.
