iat performance chip

has anyone put in a performance chip where the intake air temp. sensor goes i seen one on ebay that change the resistance the ecu sees there by increasing and changing the amount of fuel and timing to supposedly increase horsepower by 15 to 20 more. and if you have done it how big of a resistor the one on ebay was 1620 ohms.

It wont help you. Save your money.
