if i bought a sr20det could i take the turbo and headers off and put n/a headers on it??? or is there more to it than that? please explain what i would have to do to make the copnversion happen.

id imagine that the ECU would be expecting a little boost and would run shitty. You would need to re route the intake piping. You would need to plug a bunch of vacuum lines. I think you keep the fuel injectors even though they are kinda big for just a stock 2.0L NA. But the ECU would be the hardest part im guessing.

out of what car? Were there non-turbo RWD 200sx's in AUS? Ive never really seen a non turbo 240sx/180sx/200sx that had an SR20 in it. But if there were any, i would imagine so as long as the motor still had the same specs. Im kinda doubting it would though. The NA engines probably have smaller injectors, and different internals that arent the same as for a boosted block. But i dont know on this, im just guessing

if you removed the turbo and manifold then installed headers for an n/a car you would run it what feels like no power

you would need to remove the IC, the re-route the intake like he said, the ECU would need to be like a custom tune, because a SR20DE runs higher comp ratio to make more power so its ECU wouldn't really help

Correct me if I am wrong but don't the V-Spec Sentra have SR20DE's in them. If so could he possibly use the ECU off one of those

negative the vspec sentras have 2.5L engines, the se-r sentras from previous years had the sr20de / sr20ve. and there always was a non turbo version of the 200sx/silvia, its called the jack's or J's as the badge says. and never say austraila sux, you have skylines and silvias and 180sx's oh my!

just why in the hell would you want to run an sr20det n/a? if you want an n/a motor, buy an n/a motor. if you dont have enough to go full turbo, save. but doing all of these modifications will not be worth it. plus you will have about 100 hp with an n/a sr20det

He's explained it before, he's like 15 and legally (in Australia) he can't drive a turbo car for another 3 years, but he's to immature to realize he can't drive and should get a beater until he has driving experience and can legally drive a boosted car. Instead he just spends his days sitting at home, trying to come up with these gay little ways to get a round the law because he's sure that if he doesn't have an S car, his friends will all think he's gay and leave him because they are little rich kids with Bimmers and Supras. New flash buddy, a stock NA 180SX is just as gay as a Taurus, but in a Taurus, there's a big back seat.
