yeah I know, why can't people seem to use the search feature?
you should make a movie for all the new people about it.

OMG n00bz!! O wait...You've been here longer than I have. D'oh! So Ray.... This must mean the search button eludes even the best of us. Maybe it's like..we need to discourage the search. Then people will have to find a way to "find" old threads....

This thread was not directed at Lownslow, just the current dissapointment of n00bish behavior.

MODEL ON!

Not at all...those threads came up on the first pass....proof that the search function does work without any problems.

Ya but lets face it, sure the search thread is good, but also its hard to find the answers to some questoins in the way you want...like sure for SOME things you can find exactly what you need, but if you want to ask a question that wasn't in the thread and you can't find it anywhere else...You can't post it in that thread because "the thread is too old" and if you make your own thread just to ask that question, you get nothing but complaints and insults from people saying your a noob, and that its been covered in the search field

You conveniently miss the point

The search feature in this case would have served its purpose.
A lot of the ‘new’ questions have been answered, you just have to read the threads the search feature brings up.
If a search doesn’t find an answer, mention in your new thread that you searched and couldn’t find the answer.
Bringing up the old thread is useless, most of the time the poster of the the thread has moved on and doesn’t post here anymore, if reading an old thread brings up new questions, post a new thread linking to the old thread and asking for clarification.

I am not continuing this debate with you any longer, the line has been drawn

Re: Civintegra

I am noob and suprisingly I find the search feature useful.

I tried to post a topic about Tamiya X-18 SG black last night. However, before I do that I used the search feature first...I was able to find 7 relevant threads that talked about the same thing I wanted to ask...My question was answered in no time.

Re: Civintegra

I tend to think there are two types of posters on this forum. Those who are looking for information and those who just want to chat. The former can often find answers by searching, be it google or here and ask clearly defined questions where appropriate. The latter...
