check transmission

Had the check transmission light come on in a 2000 continental. Took to dealer and they found no problems. Anyone experience this problem with the warning?

Re: check transmission

I would suggest (and so will many others) you have that tramsmission flushed and refilled approximately every 35,000 miles. Don't just drain /change the fluid, have it flushed out.

The cost is about $50/$70 depending on where you go.

I do mine every 30k miles, as do many Town Car owners just because ours are prone to have problems if their not taken care of.

Sorry, I can't answer your question
