Thanks for posting the link.

I hope you don't mind me offering some advice. Just so you know I have done some studies on user interface and usability. Based on all the forums I have visited I have never seen one that required people to generate an account before they could even see what was in the forum.

It doesn't make much logical sense.

People want to see if they like something before committing or doing more work (ie: generating an account). In any area or field, observation is a necessity on how existing things are done. If one finds a particular method not used then one has to ask why is it and often many times just follow the leader.

Just a tip, of course you don't have to listen to me

A.

That is cool, you had a good reason, I say
Thanks for posting the demo you could create a little text or instructions telling people to login w/ your visitor account

I'll shut-up now.

Man, I checked it out, that is freekin sweet.
All the base models and car parts adds a nice touch

I have a few ?s
For the first time I feel old, out of touch from the latest thing
you need a manga FAQ for old ppl

Why are manga cars small?
How do you make them look so pixelated?
Can they be in perspective, or must they always be head/back-on, side shots?

I wanna see how these are made (from scratch)

Thx

Re: Manga Car Forum

well i will put up a FAQ Tonight and i'll short answer some of your questions

Why are manga cars small? to be honest with you i quite new at this and have no idea but they make good sigs and avatars

How do you make them look so pixelated? i make my cars in paint pixel by pixel and usually don't start from scratch. The process is long and you need some patience but it's kind of addictive once you get started. Kind of like drawing when you first start out with a sketch and then you want to up that, then you try drawing real cars and you get better and better and it's just a little passtime

Can they be in perspective, or must they always be head/back-on, side shots? i've seen one in perspective and i give the guy major kudos because it must've taken forever
but all mine take forever because i use ms paint

thats the only perspective one i've seen

anywhoo thanks for your intrest hope you enjoy the forum if you sign up

Most all are just front side rear, thats a 3.4 view, which is very very hard so almost nobody does them, but Blitz, the person who made that, is most liekly hte best pixel abse maker alive, so everything he touches is perfect lol
