Power Steering Problem I think
having a prob wtih my steering, when ever I steer REAL FAST or have to JERk the steering wheel my wheel like locks up for a second or two and wont turn. could it be my rack and pinion or just my power steering pump going bad, I chekced the fluid and the belt etc. all that craps fine. I was in the rain the other day and the shit almost made me crash. I got a little too squiirely and when I tried to counter steer the wheel kinda locked up and got real tight.

The locking mechanism for when the key isnt in the ignition might be screwed up somehow

yea thats not a power steering problem at all. I have no power steering in my hatch. Its just harder to turn, but when your already rolling its not hard to turn at all. You feel the road better too. It could be what skyline said. I would get that checked asap.

disconnect your power steering all together if you still have the problem its in your steering column some where. should be an easy fix.
