dual xdmr7700 going crazy

ok i need a new face plate or deck face or what ever u call it ..lol..every time i hit a bump it desides to go crazy..i cant keep it on a channel or when im listing to a cd it flys threw...where do i find a new face ???and a remote...plz im in need of help befor i loose my mind....common how do u think it looks when im pimping and all a sudden it deside too go nutty !!!!lol...driving me crazy plz help...ty

my advice, return it to wherever you got it form asap! if you cant, start savign and looking into getting a new headunit. i have the cheapass dual headunit from when i bought it cause i thought the flip out display was cool. trust me, its not worth the hassle. Dual is basically a piece of shit brand, their headunits malfunction often and their whole brand line is based on looks and not quality. thats how they sell their products though, you go and buy them because they look cool, not knowing that they use cheap parts and motorized faceplates that crap out on you in a couple months.

before you trash it .... try this, take the faceplate off and find the copper or gold contacts on the part still in the dash and the little faceplate. Take an eraser and clean both sets of contacts off and retry it.
