cab corners on 73-87 c/k trucks

after replacing my cab corners over the summer, i primed my cab and noticed that the replacements are not quite lined up right. I have done lots of glazing putty and it is somewhat ok looking and feels somewhat smooth now, but i am now debating whether i should strip down the areas and hammer the metal better. have any of you pepul restoring your truck(s) ever had this problem of the cab corner being off a little? if so, do you think i could just paint it and it would be pretty good looking anyways? i suppose i could just paint it white if i need to in order to make it hard to see... lol

Mine were off a little. I just covered them with a little more body puddy.
