x5 stalling

My x5 has begun stalling for some unknown reason. Sometimes it will not start for 10 or 20 seconds, other times it will just stall, at a stop sign or after backing up....?

Its performance seems to be normal in all other aespects. I would guess it is electrical and not fuel related as their is not sputtering or hesitation issues it is either on or off. Any help would be appreciated.

I did read through all the threads looking for anything similar and I found one related to battery. I just replaced the battery a year ago and doubt that is the case here.

I would appreciate any ideas.

Thanks
Aaron

Re: x5 stalling

If it stalls only when your foot is off the gas, sounds like an idle valve. If it stalls when turning the wheel completely to one side, there's new software to correct that
