Lightbulb tranny

why does my th200-4r tranny take long to shift?
can any 1 answer this ? for me. Take any info i can get...

Impropery adjusted tv cable one possibility, you (as usual on these forums) omitted year and model, condition, mileage?

I agree with Maxwedge but if it shifts when you take your foot off the accelerator then the vacuum modulator may have gone bad.
