Problem with friends hatch
My firend has a H/B 91 with a sunroof. He swaped hes D15 fo a D16 but he had problem with the injector wireing so he but his D15 carb on it and used D16 ecu not the D15 that he had before....car ran fine for a year...then the sunroof went out of order.......and then the rearlights started to do strange things.......we looked ower the thing and found out that if there is no power the rear lights work....if the ignition is turnd on the sunroof and wiper fuse is blown....and it blown loud...melts the 10A fuse.....is it a short?.....when we removed the upper connector behind the fusebox the wipers work and soo does the sunroof with the igniton on.....but he rear lights dont work ...soo is the short in there?.....and if so why does it blow the sunroof and wiper fuse?

Correct me if im wrong but dont only H/b SI's (d16 stock) have sunroofs? Sounds like short to power somewhere.

yeah i agree, sounds like a short to power. time to bust out the DMM and wiring diagram.

Sunroof and wipers are same circuit. Sounds like a problem in the fuse box itself from what you're saying or perhaps a crossed wire in the circuit. Like Hybrid said, time to bust out the wiring diagram... Go here and look at the "Electrical" section. GL
