Re: winter has come, windows fog excessivly

Got the same problem with my 95. Windows fog up right away when cold, and my heater takes forever to warm up, so it stays like that for a while. Havent been able to find a solution yet.

Re: winter has come, windows fog excessivly

I use to have the exact same problem but never figured it out? I found that riding around with the window half down seemed to keep the windows pretty much clear, although it would be very cold they would be clear.

Not implying that you're a dumbass but it's not on recirc is it? If so you're just circulating humid air around in the car.

Re: winter has come, windows fog excessivly

Terry cloths work well to suck up all the moisture. Also if you kick the snow off your feet before you hop in, it will reduce the humidity in your car especially when you have the heat cranked.

Re: winter has come, windows fog excessivly

Its not just dsm's. My 93 civic does the same thing. Older cars just tend to do that. Especialy with the weather here in wisconsin it just takes awhile to warm up using non-humid air from outside the car.

Re: winter has come, windows fog excessivly

Lots of salt, just kidding. Maybe a heating blanket in a garbage bag so it doesn't get wet with a tarp over top. Or a friends heated garage.
