Re: Intake Problem...please help!

there should be a MAF adapter that will mount the pipe to the filter on your short ram intake, if there isn't, you'll ahve to at least mount the stock box back on there and purchase a maf adapter from ebay or somewhere

and it shouldn't run right... gotta fix that quick dude

Re: Intake Problem...please help!

if the intake didn't come with the MAF/MAS adapter plate, then you need to return the intake because it is crappy.

and if not just buy the damnn adapter from a tuner shop its not car spesific but it is manufacture spesific. Just ask if tey have a mitsubishi adapter plate. BTW the adapter plate size is 4.5in so finding filters is hard as hell

That is a pretty broad question because there are so many brands out there. Give us a name (if you cant find a name then you are probably up shit crick and should have spent more than $1.25 for it), or perhaps check google or something for yourself, because unless i am mistaken you have your own 2 hands just like any one of us.

Re: Intake Problem...please help!

it should come w/ a filter and adapter

those 4.5 inch adapter plates are damn near impossible to find, i've been all over town trying to find one for my friend (the guy that sold it to us left it off the intake), and his AEM intake ended up ghetto rigged w/ the stock box at the end of the AEM WAI pipe..that was goofy and i don't think he's gotten an adapter plate yet either

AEM/Injen/K&N are reputable companies who do thing correct. they will include the adapter in their kit because you need it. most ebay intakes will not include the adapter because they are only trying to make money...not please the customer.
