fuel problems on 89 escort
I was working on a 89 escort the ignition switch . and the fuel cutoff
switch came on (found in trunk ) and reset by pushing button down . tried to start and still won't start . help here please tried everything .

I probably can't help much but as far as I know the reset switch has nothing to do with the ignition switch. Can't figure out why you had to reset it. My guess is, if the ignition switch is hooked up right, that you may have blown a fuse while hooking the new switch up.
