how hard to make a 5 speed 4x4 into a auto 4x4 ?

a guy is going to give me a 1993 tracker. excellent shape. 5 speed 4x4. problem no motor. everthing else is there. how hard and would it be big money to make it a automatic ? thanks. marty

You would first need to see if the mounting points are the same. If they are then all you would need to do is take the manual out and put in the automatic.. Remove the flywheel and clutch and put the torque converter on it. Also you would need a TCU (transmission control unit) and an automatic ECM..
