Traction control effective off-road?

Hi, just purchased a 2 wheel drive 2006 Sequoia SR5, with the Sport Package. I don't see where a factory locker or limited slip is even offered. How effective is the traction control? I won't really be going off-road. I'm more concerned with steep muddy or snowy roads and driveways, etc. I live in Florida, but go to western North Carolina in the winter time. Does anyone know the standard rear axle ratio? I can't find that anywhere-it's not even in the vehicle brochure. I'd like to hear of your experience with traction control, in the kind of situations I'm anticipating.

Re: Traction control effective off-road?

Can somebody give me their opinion? How well does traction control work in the real world, during slippery driving-especially muddy or snowy inclines?
