Crank Sensor 89 Cutlass Supreme

Hello everyone!
I write on behalf of my father who doesn't have access to the internet. He is working on an 89 Cutlass Supreme 3.1 and cannot locate the crank sensor. Does anyone know where it is located? He has a manual but the diagrams are pretty bad. Pics would be awesome, if not, any help would be great!
