What tranny is in the 95 bonneville?

I have the 95 bonneville non supercharged, what 4-speed do I have?

You have a 4t60-e, and there are 3 different final drive ratios used in that year. If you give me the last 8 digits of your VIN, I can tell you that too.

Hey thanks.
I just had the whole tranny rebuilt for $1750 and I think it could have been done cheaper, oh well, so I just wanted to do some research and find out. Probably would have been cheaper to buy an already rebuilt tranny and just bolt it right in or perhaps just a nice used one. oh well, you live and learn I guess.

that is not a bad price though...it takes 8 hours minimum just to take the sucker out and put it back in at a shop with all the right equipment.
