cylinder head ports
Is it a good idea to have my cylinder head ports bored?About how much hp can I get out of my car(2002 Honda civic Lx),with this job?About how much $ would it be?

porting by a good company is about 1000, with honda heads, you dont really wanna bore the port too much, just alittle and polish it. overboring can lead to lazy port which will result in loss of hp

you'd see a little bit of power but IMO its not worth it on an LX Civic....d series isn't worth it unless you're going boosted.....

yeah if you are going to keep your d, at least do a mini me and port that head but you also need the intake mani and cams to back up the ported head
