My new spray booth!

I managed to build thing for.....FREE!!!. I searched my parents farm and found everything I needed at zero cost to me, it's good to have a pack-rat for a father.

I still have to figure out the ducting, but my test sprays seem to work perfect.

Re: My new spray booth!

Can we have a little explination of what it is made of?
It looks effective, but that is a huge fan...I hope it's not too effective.

Nice booth, man!!!

I suggest a filter before and after the fan motor though.

Re: My new spray booth!

I echo what Lambo said, gotta have those filters.
Looks like you did a nice job.
Another tip, line the booth with some waxpaper, it'll help keep it clean and bright. When the waxpaper gets fairly soiled or you start a new paintjob just pull it out and re-line.
Nice Job!

Re: My new spray booth!

Its made out of 1/2 imch MDF. I just built it to the same size as the rubbermaid bin I sprayed into outside. As for the CFM's of the squirrel cage fan...i have no clue, it was the smallest one I could find.

And yes I will be putting filters in, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
