Question voltage stabilizer

I have a 1979 MGB that i am re-wiring with a power block harness and i was just wondering where is the voltage stabilizer located on this year car?

I believe it is on the fire wall behind the gas guage. It is connected to the gas guage and temp guage with a light-green/green wire. What are the differences between the original harness and the power block harness?

thanks for your help and the power block harness is a whole new harness that is cheaper then ordering a OE style. If you go to
www.advanceautowire.com there is more about it
