4-Runner rear spoiler

I crunched the brake light and part of my spoiler on my 2004 4-Runner while driving out of my garage. (The garage door tensioner had slipped and the door did not complete its opening, which I did not notice until it was too late) Anyway, I'm trying to remove the spoiler to repair the light in it as well as the spoiler itself. Not so easy............ Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to remove the spoiler? It's a factory installed nunit.
