Whooooo Hooooo! Finally installed keyless entry system and it feels gooooooooood!
Man Im happy!
 After like 2 months of debating with myself if I should pay a pro to install the keyless entry, I decided to try once again (102nd time) to install it myself. I got it this time! Ok heres the deal, I have not installed the feature where the lights flash, because I dont know how (I have the wiring diagram, but cant find the wires)  Also I had to "hack" into the unlock/lock wires, therefore disabling the door unlock/lock button on both the drivers side and passanger side! Is there a way to override this so both work or did I wire it wrong? Im proud with myself because my friend "specializes" in wiring stuff and is taking electrical engineering courses in school and he couldnt fugure how to install it, BUT I DID, LOL! Also I noticed something REAL strange, while checking/changing the fuses, I noticed a fuse in the place that is for the factory car alarm, I also noticed some random switch right near the clutch pedal, it had a black top and was just hanging there, (I wish I had a camera, but I figure it might have to do with the cruise control) Any help and/or comments would be great! THANKS!

Well i would say you only 1/2 figured out how to install it, cause i guess it works....but not really, cause you kinda disabled/didnt hook up stuff....

The wire for the lights is under the dash right by the fuse panel under the dash. It's on the far left side. I believe its a green and white wire. It does the flashers. It's all connected with a bunch of other wires in a loom or tape. If I remember , Illl try to take a pic of where it's at. It's also cold.

Yeah it was 15 as a high here... I think I'm gonna hibernate.
I'm thinking of doing keyless on my car. Congrats.

If you go to this place http://www.startbyremote.com/ they have do it youself alarm install help. They also have alarms that have all the features of Vipers, etc but are a lot less. And if you buy the alarm from them they have live support for installing it yourself.

your talking about he car in ur sig right? which wouldl be a manual... becareful man... can you install a keyless entry and remote ona 1 g?

i just baought a parts car and its got shaved door handles and its got the popers in the door already but no remote....can u just go out and buy a remote to those popers or do u have to put new popers in?
