The new Triumph is gorgeous. I can't wait to see how it performs.

I've got some great pictures of it on my work computer I'll post tomorrow.

You know Deal, what's the deal? Over the months since you been here, you keep saying that, like posting pics and vids, but you never do. I stopped counting on you bro. J/K .

You've noticed that too?

I have a bad habit of forgetting about threads I post in... but this time I'm going to go all the way and follow up on my otherwise empty promises!

I've heard some good things about the Triumphs. Personally I love how it looks if nothing else.

I wonder dimensionally, which would be smaller for the knees, the 06 R6 or 675?

Re: triumph daytona 675 triple

Well, the 675 will be substantially skinnier than the R6, so other than that it will just depend on rearset location I would think.

That's what I thought, it being a triple. And there's all the promo ad hype about flicking faster and less wind drag than an inline 4. But Yamaha's engine will be much smaller next year with new mounting position, something like forward slant/cant that promises the same stuff as 675. And fuel tank being lower. But I'm going to guess R6 would be about an inch wider.

edit: If 675 is allowed to compete in AMA and WSB Supersports, it'll be interesting to see how it'll fair against the competition.
