www.ecofuelsystems.com

hello;
i seen this on the forums. and couldnt find it again. seems it was deleted
www.ecofuelsystems.com

anyway i emailed the company.I inquired how much and what it consisted of, here is there reply;

Don,

The phone # is my cell, the unit comes in 5 sizes, if your blazer is a 4 cylinder the Eco #1 will cost $129 plus tax. If your engine is a 6 or 8 cylinder (probably a 6, that's what mine is) then the Eco #2 is $246 plus tax. It typically take about 4-5 months for the unit to pay for itself based on your fuel savings. Also, It absolutely comes with a guarantee. if for ANY reason you are not satisfied, you have 90 days to get a full refund, even if the unit has been used. You also have a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer. look at the company website, www.ecofuelsystems.com and you can chek it out a little more indepth. There are also a couple of news stories that you can watch on that site as well. when you say meet at exit 29, do you mean off of I-75?

Hi Don, Well the good news is you only need one piece, it attaches to your fuel line, and as the gasoline passes through it, and vaporizes it. Rather than having your engine vaporize the gas, and discharge the fuel that isn't used, the eco fuel system does it instead, eliminating wasted fuel, and lowering emissions.
I have a 2000 S-10 blazer, and the difference is like night and day. the engine runs smooth as silk, there is no longer any hesitation when I push on the accelerator, and initially I was getting 16mpg city, and 18mpg hwy. My city mpg has increased to 18-19mpg and my highway mpg is between 21 and 22mpg. As far as installation, I won't lie to you, provided our engines are the same, (Vortech) It took me about 2 hours to install it, but that is because I am not a mechanic, and I did not have the proper tools. On a different note, the last one I installed took less than 10 minutes. It all depends on how easily accessible the fuel line is. A mechanic will charge approx $50. If you are not mechanically inclined, it might be worth it, but if you have easy access to you fuel line then you can probably do it yourself. I am in Cincinnati, if you are close, I can meet with you, and show you where it should go, and if easy enough, I'll give you a hand. Feel free to call me, the website phone number is incorrect.
My # is 513-545-0744

Thanks,
Stephen Arenz

Re: www.ecofuelsystems.com

I don't know what to say candywrapper.

What exactly are you getting for the money?

Since he's actually willing to meet with you it's probably legit. If he wasn't willing to then I'd say scam.

As you know you'll be running this system into a high pressure fuel system, so you'll have to make sure that it's quality parts.

If you try it can you give us a report.

Thanks
