|
99 sunfire w/o driving lights no high beams
Working on a 99 sunfire 4 door base have high beams but no low beams.followed headlamp wiring to harness below battery so far replaced 4 wires due to corrosion.what color wire is the low beam wire is it the blue one?any one had this problem on theses before and what fixed it.On 2 cavaliers i had a headlamp pro blem with and i just replaced the diodes in the harness this car doesnt have these and does not have driving lights either .It is not the headlamp switch tried that because it fixed 3 others i worked on.any feed back would be good thanks

just for future reference the problem is fixed now.the headlamp wiring harness under the drivers side headlamp that had been rubbing against the washer solvent jug and the body causing open wires and corrosion replaced 5 wires about 1 foot of each.just so you know if you have a problem like this and do have foglamps i have fixed 3 so far it is the diodes in the headlamp harness there are 2 you will find them under the tape.one near the center of the rad support and the other underneath buy the harness plug in gm has them good luck guys
