Revell C6 Convertible -complete

Been a while since I actually completed a model. So here is this OOB kit.

Revell C6 Corvette convertible snap kit. Tamiya gold base, gunze, tamiya, clear oranges untill I got the shade I was looking for. Interior is Walmart flatblack spray. Felt lazy Pegasus wheels (Willimo is getting the stock ones otherwise they'd be on). Might get diff rims tho. These are cool, but look HUGE....

Thanks for looking.

Re: Revell C6 Convertible -complete

Looks good man. Rear wheels & tires could be a little smaller, but I like them.

That actually builds up really well. Who said snap is lame? Great work Frank, color is excellent!

Awesome, man those are some meaty rear wheels!
Paint looks great, the car looks very "tight" for a snap.
Keep em comin!

Wow, looks real good, especialy for a snap! Rear wheels look a tad big, but the color is great, nice build!

Awesome work!!!

Like I said in a previous post on this kit, the recent snaps from Revell make one helluva nice display model if done correctly! Why they get such a bum wrap is beyond me. . .

I would agree, except for one caveat.

Revell snaps are lame because of the *&%#T^*)#$ stickers instead of decals

Good thing I'm teaching myself how to do my own decals

Nice job Frank, the color suits it well. The rear wheels are a bit much though

Re: Revell C6 Convertible -complete

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. I still dunno what to do about the rims. The rears are HUGE!!! And I don't go for that sort of thing too often. The fronts are too small to work in the rear..so..I dunno. Throw some ideas at me guys.

Thanks.

I can run off some more casts of my 2CV wheels if you want 'em? j/k

I really like your build and the colour looks spot on!
