hmm...call me crazy but with a heeping helping of luck and some acting and writing talent, this "Guy in debt to the mafia" premise could work. It is flexible and allows for good character growth (in between the over-dramatized races, of course) On the other hand....*crosses fingers* Also, I saw the casting call thread. Any word on whos cars got accepted?

Eh.. imdb is great for movies that have already been released, but as far as unreleased movies / rumors go, I wouldn't put too much faith in it

it's true. my friend's dad is a stunt director and he is working on the movie...very unfortunate.

I think it will be to blame for a lot of drifting-related accidents... whether it is a cause or not aside...

I heard a rumor that there is mustang in the movie, with skyline motor. Other than that there will be a lot of newly-born drifters in 1987-2006 civics with cold air intakes and 4" mufflers.
