'97 with front end clank noise

Hope someone can help me out here, my 4x4 truck is making a clank or knock type noise when I make right turns. Usually happens while making tight turns. I am not much of a auto mechanic, but I took a look at it while I was under it changing the oil. I didn't see anything obvious, but I am thinking this might be a tie rod?
Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can extend my may.

Re: '97 with front end clank noise

I would guess that it is a bad ball-joint. But, it could be the tie-rod end or maybe the front CV on that side. You can check the ball-joint by jacking up the front of the truck and trying to move the tires. Try to push against the top or bottom of the tire and see if it gives.
