Aftermarket Guages
Can yall tell me what kind of small, full sweep, mechanical guages are good? I want a small cluster to put in my 69 impala, but I am not familiar with all of the brands. What is good? All I know about is Sunpro and Auto Meter. Which are good, and what should I stay away from?
Thanks. |

Re: Aftermarket Guages
Genuine Auto Meter are the best. They also make a "second line" called "Auto Guage". The liquid-filled AM are the hot lick. Pro racers use them almost exclusively.
Stewart Warner also makes very good guages, but aren't advertised much anywhere (way past SunPro). FWIW Jim |

Auto Meter is the way to go if want the best they blow sunpro and autogage away in quality but stick to the sport-comp line they are good gagues and wont run your budget too hard.
