Just replaced Rront end Control Arm.. $300
You should have heard the sound of my car. Seriously, you could hear me turning corners a block away. So yea, I had to replace my Control arm. Cost of the control arm?? $130, Cost of labor?? $160. Yea I probably got fucked, but oh well. My car is as quite as dead person right now. And it drives soooooooo smooth. I'm even having second thoughts about lowering it now.

Re: Just replaced Rront end Control Arm.. $300
I've lowered my car quite a bit now (about an inch of fender gap left), and my control arms "clack" loudly when I turn too. It sounds really dangerous.
I was just browsing EBay, and saw some SPC aftermarket control arms going for $450. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SPC-M...spagenameZWDVW Damn. They advertise being stronger than stock, and good for lowered cars with increased arm strain. Anyone think theyre worth it? |
