1996 Suburban Transfer Case Interchange
Had a friend's manual shift NP241, behind a 4L60E in a '96 1500 Suburban, blow up. Wondering if anyone knows for sure if another NP241 out of a '89 1500 Pickup with a 700r4 will fit in its place. I'm pretty confident it will, but I'd like to know for sure. Thanks!!

Re: 1996 Suburban Transfer Case Interchange
Never mind, found out the '96 has a different front output shaft. The older one has a flat round mating surface, with 4 5/8 head bolts in it just behind a constant velocity joint and the '96 has has a regular u-joint to connect it to the front driveshaft. I think they changed in 95.
