head & intake gasket question

Are felpro gaskets fine for replacing head & intake gaskets? With all the talk about bad factory gaskets, I don't want too have to do this more than one time! My 2000 LS has acquired the dreaded antifreeze leak. Not sure yet if it's the intake or the head gasket though. (starts leaking shortly after starting -mostly from off the starter- then quits after engine fully warms up & starts leaking again as engine cools off) I have not had the time to crawl around under the hood yet to see. Also I saw felpro has a severe use head gasket #510SD is it worth the extra money?
thanks

When I did my lower intake manifold because of the coolant leak, I used Felpro. It came with everything needed for the upper plenum. Got it at NAPA. It was a 38 dollar kit. I don't know anything about the head gasket Felpro makes.

Re: head & intake gasket question

I've used felpro gaskets for lots of stuff and never had a leak when they're installed properly.

I can't say that for other brands though

Used felpro on all my engines... Never a problem with them.
