2000 Chev Blazer Lt

SIRS: I HAVE A 2000 CHEV BLAZER WITH AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM THAT HAS PUZZED ME BEYOND EXPLANATION. THE KEY IN THE IGNITION ALERT CONTINUES TO RING AFTER REMOVING THE KEY. ALSO THE ELECTRIC LOCKS WILL NOT LOCK THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR ,
YOU NEED TO MANUALY LOCK IT. THE REST OF THE DOORS WILL LOCK.
THE ALERT WILL STAY ON FOR SEVERAL MIN AND THEN SHUT OFF.
AND AS SOON AS YOU OPEN THE DOOR THE ALERT STARTS AGAIN.
IT FIRST STARTED SEVERAL YEARS AGO ONLY WHEN IT WAS BELOW
35 DEGREES OUTSIDE. AND HAD GOTTEN WORSE UNTILL THIS SUMMER IT DOES IT EVERYTIME. SOMETIMES YOU CAN WIGGLE THE KEY SWITCH AND IT WILL SHUT OFF, BUT NOT STAY OFF. I HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY OTHER ELECT. PROBLEMS WITHT HE VEH.
ALSO THE REMOTE LOCK WILL LOCK ALL DOORS EXCEPT THE DRIVERS DOOR, IT ACTS AS IF IT DOES BUT UNLOCKS ITSELF IMEDIATLY.

ANY THOUGHTS OR ADVISE?

C
