do 87 pontiac fiero gt 5 speeds have neutral safety switch im thinking about remote start

For the manual transmissions in the Fiero, you need to push in the clutch to start the car, so I guess the answer is yes their is a neutral safety switch on the clutch pedal.

You realize that if you override that switch, you MUST remember to leave the car in neutral, set the parking brake prior to using a remote starter!!!

i am not sure how to do it but i work at circuit city and i was told that you can do it and set up a switch so that if it is a gear it wilnot start.
