I Hate Testors Paint!!!!!

I painted my GSX with the Testors Dark Blue and it has orange peel to the most extreme. It has to be the paint because I wet sanded the primer to a smooth finish. I don't ever have trouble like this with Duplicolor.

I do a lot of painting and I don't do heavy coats. It has to be the nossle. Duplicolor has a patented button, look at it next time your at Wal-Mart or an auto parts store. It allows much more control with less effort. Once you use it you won't want to use anything else.

Re: I Hate Testors Paint!!!!!

Testors requires a different painting technique, the paint is thicker in the rattle can too, try heating the can in some warm water before spraying, the heat thins the paint and allows it to level out better. Also review how far from the model you're spraying, that's a factor too.

Maybe it is just metallic blue. I am doing a dark metallic blue over a black primer. I peeled the masking off the black and it tore the the blue at the edge. I'm thinking the metallic flake is to blame.
