1994 Abs

I have 1994 bonny SSEi , just replaced a cv boot on the passenger side a few months ago and after that I started getting a whinning noise coming from the front when the car is in motion, frequency diiferent at different speeds, but I I turn the steering wheel a little the noise will stop. Car is still running fine with the noise. But the problem I have is after the first snow fall locked the brakes, ABS came on for a few seconds then off and now the ABS lite in the dash is on and NO ABS. Can someone tell me how to reset the ABS on this , Remove the two fuses on the firewall in the engine compartment, but the lite is still on ? Is there a Relay as well ? Any help please

There is no " resetting " the abs, there is a problem, needs to be scanned with a abs scanner for codes. The noise may be a wheel bearing , did you properly retorque the axle nut?

I agree with Max, it sounds like a wheel bearing went south, the ABS sensor is contained within it. If you didn't tighten the axle nut to spec, or if you used an impact wrench on it, you ruined your hub bearing.
