Where is the frost plug located on a 93 Grand Am Se

It depends on the size engine you have but most are located on the side of the block. Some blocks have them in the ends or rear and some even have them in the heads.

Thanks for responding my motor is a 3.1. The car is a Grand Am Se
If the frost plug is in the headers then really is it worth my while to spend the cash after all it is a 1993

If you have a frost plug pushed out it is fairly inexpensive to have it replaced. The sides of the engines are easy to get to and a mechanic should be able to replace it in an hour. Probable cost to replace less than $200 depending on location. A lot cheaper than a new car!
