help!!! starter still engaged after start
ok my power cable snapped off my starter 3 days ago i fixed that properly (solderd and crimped the connector back on) then when i started it up the starter wouldnt dissengage and made a grinding noise so i replaced the relay no help i got the starter rebuilt but still makes the grinding noise and i'm outa ideas so sorry about the long post but any suggestions would be much apreciated
forgotte to put it its a 93 ranger 4.0 5spd |

Are you losing the voltage signal to the starter when you release the key? The 12 volts to the starter solenoid may be the problem ... it should only be a momentary signal.
