computer swap?

is it possible to take out my computer system in my 92 and put in a newer, say 2002, computer in it?

No, totally different. You'll be swapping all sorts of sensors and stuff, and since the 2002 is OBD2, expect to perform a bit of work to bring the '92 into compliance.

won't work plus there would be no point to it... a newer computer won't offer you any kind of gain...
