In Progess: Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3
After having to take unavoidable break from modeling due to school and other activities, I finally got a chance to get back into modeling this semester. I wanted to pick a model from my collection that didn't have an engine, to make sure I could finish it before the end of the semester. I decided to go with this Porsche GT3, since it's fairly simple.
I'd say it's about 80% complete, I just need to polish the body, finish making the harnesses, and put everything together. I painted the body Tamiya TS 10. Everything is pretty box stock, except for the wheels, which were donated from a Tamiya Taisan Starcard Porsche GT2 model. Here's some pics of everything that I've done so far.       For the monitor, I cut a piece out of one of those magazine subsription ads.

Different color choice..Kinda looks like the Gulf blue. Add some orange in there somewhere then that porsche will feel right. Keep up the awsome progress so far.

I am/was going to do the exact same thing, buth with Verdigris (The bright green copper goes when it weathers). I am planning to do an Enzo in that TS-10. Nice work on the dashboard.
