need a straight answer
im lookin at buyin the hks ssqv bov really cheap from a guy and i need to know that since it vents to the aptmosphere what exactly will happen with the air/fuel mixture and what im gonna need to do to fix the problem. i love the sound it makes so any info is appreciated

I believe that it will run rich only for a moment after you shift. You will see some hesitation. I think one thing you would have to get is a gm MAF.

I found this one on ebay really cheap is it a real ssqv which will be really loud?

In addition to what was already said, you'll also be a little rich at idle. It's generally not good to vent.
They have a recirc kit for the ssq on e-bay, if you search for it. The harmonics will probably change with the kit, but it'll be better performance-wise. I don't know how the knock off brand works. There are other nice sounding bovs that are easier to recirc, if you're interested.

If you google, there's a page with BOV sounds, so that you could decide which you prefer.
The two popular choices are the greddy s and ssqv.
