How to Open door Panel in 2002 Windstar

Hello Everyone,

Last night my passenger side door window didn't roll back up. Actually it does goes up but the Glass is going over to the lining on side view mirror end. I was trying to open the door panel to fix it but I couldn't. I have found two screws under door handle from inside. Did open those but didn't help in moving any part of the panel. Is there a better way to open the door panel?

I'm going from memory, but you need to:
- remove the door pull (2 screws)
- pop off the black plastic triangle by the side mirror and remove the screw
- carefully pry the door panel away from the door. There are several clips (don't break them). You can buy a special tool to do it (about $2) or just pull.

If your 2002 is anything like my 2000. it doesn't use the old plastic push pins. Undo screws holding door handle or pull and screws along the bottom of the panel, then push panel straight up until it disengages from door. There are hooks molded into door panel and corresponding holes in door.

They are from my '96.....maybe yours is close enough to the pictures.
